My number one tip for planning a family portrait session in Huntsville is to work with a photographer. Your photographer will help guide you through the process. I guide my clients along the way from inquiring, to booking, picking a location, selecting outfits, and through your entire session. My goal is to make your Huntsville family portrait session as stress free as possible.
Another tip I often suggest is to bring snacks for young children. Snacks that aren’t messy are a great options to avoid staining outfits. Think of snacks such as cheese sticks, apples, or gummy bears. For family portraits I suggest wearing outfits that coordinate with each other, but you don’t have to match perfectly. Select a color palette of about 3 colors than mix and match what everyone is wearing. Adding a couple of patterns can help to coordinate without fully matching too.
